With residences in Manhattan and the Hamptons, the family frequently hosts friends and enjoys a lively social calendar, especially during weekends and the summer months.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and personable full-time Service Stewardess to support the family’s day-to-day needs across two residences. This role involves five days a week of service, primarily on weekends, with two days off mid-week. The position is live-out in Manhattan, with private accommodations provided only when the family is in the Hamptons. You will be responsible for managing household service duties, coordinating with the chefs, and creating a refined atmosphere for the family and guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Meal Service: Ensure smooth meal service for the family and guests, setting and clearing tables, and assisting with plating and presentation.
• Table Décor: Plan and arrange elegant table settings, appropriate for each occasion, bringing attention to seasonal and decorative details.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventories of supplies, including beverages, linens, and tableware, and handle stock-taking and ordering as needed.
• Beverage Service: Manage beverage stock, including ordering drinks and ensuring an assortment suitable for both everyday and special occasions.
• Chef Coordination: Work closely with the chefs at both properties to facilitate meal timing, dietary needs, and any specific requests from the family or guests.
• Event Assistance: Support the planning and smooth operation of family gatherings and small events, ensuring a seamless experience for all attendees.
• Travel Flexibility: Assist with transitioning between the family’s Manhattan and Hamptons residences, particularly during weekends and summer.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Professional Experience: Previous experience as a service stewardess, yacht stewardess, or similar high-standard hospitality role within a private household or luxury setting.
• Personal Qualities: A friendly, refined demeanor with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility for Travel: Willingness to travel domestically with the family between their Manhattan and Hamptons properties as needed.
• Pet-Friendly: Comfortable with animals (two small dogs and one cat).
• Work Authorization: Must have a Green Card or U.S. passport.
